Minto Flats

August 2021 update: Due to conditions beyond our control, we are closing our bookings for Minto Flats for the remainder of the 2021 season.  We recommend you consider our lake Destinations for a wonderful experience!

If you do boat out there, see emergency order for pike fishing limits in Minto Flats area below:

Over 10,000 acres of Northern Pike heaven.

Navigate the sloughs and lakes in search of 40+ inch Northern Pike.

The action is fierce, the teeth sharp, and the fishing holes endless.

If it's Pike you desire, Minto is where you need to be.

Geskakmina Lake

Geskakmina Lake is surrounded by old growth Spruce, Alders, and Birch trees with the cabin nestled between them. The lake sits closest to Mt McKinley and offers the most in remoteness. Two options are in this wilderness getaway:

The Rainbow Trout and land-locked Silver Salmon are always hungry.

Our newly-acquired 12-person, 2 story DIY fishing lodge (pictures coming soon) is also available for large families and parties.  It's a great outdoor location for a special gathering or a corporate retreat.

Our four bunk cabin (pictured above) sleeps four guests comfortably, can sleep six guests with cots added.

Dune Lake

The cabin at Dune Lake sits on the military crest which offers a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding terrain. On clear days, the mighty Mt. McKinley defines the landscape when relaxing on the front porch. Rainbow trout and grayling are prolific and the action non-stop. Landlocked Silver Salmon inhabit the lake as well.

This destination is a family favorite.  The sloping beach is great fun for small children.

Our four bunk cabin sleeps four guests comfortably, can sleep six guests with cots added.

Deadman Lake

Deadman Lake is located in the hills above Minto Flats. Rolling hills and tall trees surround the lake. Pike can easily be caught on spinners, spoons, and flies. Deadman Lake is my personal favorite for a couple's getaway.

Amenities at Deadman are better compared to the "plywood shelters" at Minto Flats.  Consider this location's amenities a significant upgrade from the shelters at Minto Flats.

Our larger cabin sleeps four guests comfortably, can sleep six guests with cots added.

Our smaller cabin sleeps two to give a couple privacy if part of a larger group.
